Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Lets see now............

Mubarik-DONE ,Kadafi_IN PROCESS,NOW Who's

NEXT.....Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

chavez, a dictator? please.

agreed. just because the US sees him as an enemy, does not make one a dictator.

Who will catch the Tunisian Flu next?

I remember seeing this a year ago. I didn't recognize Momar and Hosni at the time. I'm still not sure who the black man on the chandelier is.

Chavez is a dictator. Just because his enemies are horrible doesn't mean that he isn't. He's just another tyrant who is making every attempt to seize power from the democratically elected legislation. His pandering to the poor and working classes will evaporate once he has consolidated his power completely.

Obama seems like a great president when compared to Bush, but the fact remains that, his half-assed health care "reform" notwithstanding, he has continued every single policy of the bush administration; to wit, Extrajudicial killings, Gitmo, reasserting "state secrets" to block invistigation of human rights abuses by his and Bush's administrations, and the continued slashing of social programs while increasing the military budget.

Guy on the chandelier is Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe - drove his country's inflation so high they started issuing TRILLION dollar bills

whoah-yeah, fidel is next!

then papa-doc!

then papa bush,
then noriega,
then ray guns,
then the shah,
then, alcibiades
then, lascau
then...

Chavez is not a dictator, he was democratically elected. The U.S. may not like him but the people of Venezuela support him.

we should just say anyone who helps the poor are dictators and save time.

how could you honestly argue someone who is democratically elected is a dictator. and remeber these wernt sham elections, these were internationally recognized.

and even if this website added the dictator part to it, the idea that chavez should be on the same list as mugabe and ghaddafi, kim jong il etc is laughable.

and if you are just going on who is the "worst" human rights offenders, there would at least a handful of american presidents that come before chavez, and about 20 more leaders whom the americans supported or put in power.

but chavez helped the poor so we cant have that

Top of the list should be:
Ehud Barak & Ariel Sharon

Ahmadinejad does not hold as much power as the media and US Government portray. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the Supreme Leader of Iran. Ahmadinejad is merely a distraction for the people and the world.

Hitler was democratically elected too, I think we all can agree he was a dictator. All the human rights violations and war crimes committed during the 30's and 40's were carried out within the framework of the principle of rule of law. Democracy and human rights go hand in hand, and a narrow definition of democracy such as "democratically elected" is definitely no guarantee for the upholding of human rights and democratic values.

I feel so stupid for doing this.....

Can someone explain this to me? I don't understand the whole white mouse deal.

The power of dictators comes from power, money, knowledge.
The white mouse thing is a metaphor for the internet and its ability to empower the people, give them money, and most importantly knowledge.
The internet allows people to voice their opinions openly, to come together for a common cause. All riots going on right now or in the future will be organized over the internet.
It is the most powerful form of technology ever created.
That is why dictators are afraid of the white mice.

1. Chavez IS a dictator. It does not matter if he was democratically elected or not. I do not know what is the concept you guys have about being a dictator, but things like shutting down a TV channel for not saying what Mr.President wanted to hear; threatening other TV and radio channels for being honest and transparent; impeding people from the opposition party to work for the state just because they did not vote for him; to expropriate houses, portions of lands and companies because they belong to the "rich" people and "ser rico es malo".... what are those things? Pure democracy?
Chavez has bought the only telephone company in the country and now all conversations are being recorded for political purposes, or you guys haven't been informed of that? Now he also wants to have control of absolutely all the information managed by Venezuelans through the internet. A person who holds a slogan such as "Patria, Solialismo o Muerte" and have as best friend Fidel Castro, one of the biggest assassins in history, cannot be called a democrat.
And finally, Chavez does not help the poor people... he MAKES them believe that he is helping them... because Chavez knows how much poverty and ignorance exists in Venezuela and that only helps him to achieve his goal, which consists mainly of becoming the king of Venezuela and remaining in power forever! ...oh, by the way... that is also a sign of dictatorship!
There are million more things I could say, of course... but I'll leave it short and sweet!

if it is not just about narrow definition of democracy as "democratic election" but as well as "human rights" then roosevelt, bush, sarkozy, peres and all the world leaders at the UN who dont take action against israel about gaza flotilla should be on that list

George bush was also democratically elected. He was more of a dick than dictator. Leave chavez alone. The guy on the chandelier is Robert Mugabe, prez of Zimbabwe and, that's not near mexico.

When the Venezuelan elite staged a coup d'état against Chavez, the people came down from the slums and demanded he be returned to office. The army turned and Chavez was reinstated. He is loved by the poor people and they are not fools, they experience the benefits of his leadership everyday.

Anyone who thinks Chavez controls the media has obviously not watched any Venezuelan TV! They spread the most insane anti-Chavez propaganda continuously and in a blatant and brutal fashion.

Those who are interested in Chavez and Venezuela should watch the John Pilger documentary 'War on Demoncracy'. It's available free from the video section of his website.

Great pictures other than Chavez though!

Venezuelan Here.

It's hilarious that Chavez is adressed as a dictator. as Joe Evans says, Globovision and other opposition media networks continuosly flail against Chavez 24/7/365, they say he's leading us to a New Cuba, that he wants to take us back to prehispanic times and bullshit that would only fit on Glenn Beck's silly rants.

We leftists could say that right wing presidents, prime ministers and monarchs are dictators, but the simple folk of the world, trapped in their little sheep fences would be ok with that, as long as they are being fed waiting to be ravaged by both the wolves and the sheppard.

I know you are all blinded by the utopia that the right shows you on the idiot box, but the real world is full of poverty, hunger and illness, and while some die of starvation, you die out of fatness.

Chavez has made mistakes, without a doubt, but the benefits for the people of Venezuela are undeniable. Entire families had to feed on Dog Chow when food prices went up in 1988/1989. Can you imagine your offspring having to feast on that shit? Didnt think so.

Back then people died in the hospitals out of a flu, and babies passed away from treatable diarrhea. We can now count on cuban doctors to treat our sickness for free, without waiting and medication included.

Dont spread shit on people's faces, you are oh so brave on the internet, but when it comes down to facing people that think different, your ass probably gaps in fear.

Chavez has given the basic needs back to his people. People that eat and stay healthy can work, and people that can work can live better and contribute to the building of a better country for their children.

Two of these pictures are not accurate. The first one and last one.

George W. Bush, Obama, Tony Blair and few others are missing.

Chaves is no dictator...

Yup... maybe someone needs to stand up his fat ass and travel to the "third world" and see how ignorant US and "first world" partners affect the people's life.
United States stands for the most savage consumers in the world, eating, burning and destroying at least 30% of the world's resources every day.
I think this kind of behavior produces dictators over the world, just like Hittler and Mussolini appeared when Germany and Italy were bankrupted and people became starved and without hope. And for these ones they spent billions of dolars in bullets, missiles and all the types of warfare you can think.
The key point is simple: dictators should be naturally banned from the world when every single person be able to eat, work and live with dignity.

OMG these are not Awesome these are
Wrong. Some people in the fotos are not
afraid of internet and free speech because
there are not (or not yet) dictators.
(the first and the last)
The are legitimate (legitimate counts also the high acceptance of their people ) leaders
More close to a dictator mind is the idea
that enforces that every leader that is not acceptable by the West is doomed and all others are fairys... lol
that's VERY WRONG.
So the picture meanding is both WRONG and MISLEADING.
EVERY MAN IN POWER afraids the freedom of people including the guys in the WEST(all presidents and every man in power)!!!
The truth is that in the West freedom and rebellion is the upcoming trend which is really going to scare the hell out of them ( the West power guys)
Because REVOLUTION IS COMING and
there is no way to avoid it because it will come either before the war either after.
PEOPLE ARE NOT STUPID ANYMORE
PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO DUY FOR THE FUCKING CAPITALISTS
AND THE MORE PEOPLE DIE FOR THE CAPITALISTS
THE MORE THE REVOLUTION IS GETTING STRONGER
BUT CAPITALISTS WANTS WAR TO GET OUT OF THE CRISIS .
SO CAPITALISTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PICTURES...
THINK ABOUT REVOLUTION LETS DIG DEEP THE CAPITALISM
HUMANITY DISERVES NO WARS FOR OIL DEATH TO YOUNG PEOPLE STARVING TO DEATH AND ECOLOGICAL
AND ECONOMICAL CRISIS
WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY THAT WE CAN BUILD A BETTER WORD NO MORE FUCKING CAPITALISTIC PIGS
THINK THAT WITH THE TECHNOLOGY WE HAVE WE COULD
HAVE AN IPHONE WITH 5$ DOLLARS BUT THE CAPITALISTS WANTS TO GIVE PEOPLE $5 DOLLARS FOR ALL DAY WORK AND 500$ FOR A FUCKING PHONE(THE EXAMPLES ARE ENDLESS)
THIS IS ECONOMIC ANOMALLY AND IT IS LEADING TO WAR AND DEATH FOR THE SAKE OF THE WEALTH OF THE FUCKING CAPITALISTS.

hahahaha... FAIL! Chavez is not a dictator!

Oh there are so many dictators to chose from in the world...The question should really be why have these ones been chosen?

human rights offender does not equal dictator.

the International Society for Human Rights should read a fucking book

theres raul as well

check it out: http://www.ishr.org/fileadmin/igfm.de/images/Publikationen/Anzeigen/Diktatoren_fuerchten_lehren/ISHR-Cuba-Raoul-Castro-press-freedom.jpg

The bottom picture is an Ecuador flag...

typical westerners... yes, yes, these poster's will save the world. now why don't you go back to your picture's of kittens and leave the revolting to us, yeah?

There's a lot of dictators. Why not George Bush or Barack Obama? They certainly both proved that they aren't interested in seeking legitimate approval for war.

Pretty Funny.... now, Chavez is NOT a dictator. He is just very smart and altered the constitution when he could in order to be in power longer by allowing him to be re-elected indefinitely. Whether the elections were forged or not that's another topic. But if forging elections make you a dictator, I think we should have a picture of George W. Bush being afraid of the mouse as well. :)
