The Red Bull Stratos project, along with daredevil Felix Baumgartner, is on a mission to break the current world record of the highest skydive by Joseph Kittinger at 102,800 feet. On March 15, 2012, Baumgartner successfully completed this test jump at 71,581 feet (aka 23 miles). Next up, Baugartner will attempt to break Kittinger's world record.
