Perhaps in Tokyo it's not quite as alarming to see a flatbed truck with two gigantic robotic women driving through traffic - but as the vehicle wound its way through Shinjuku yesterday, it was advertising a very special restaurant.

The 'Robot Restaurant' offers 'cabaret dances' from giant robots - looking like plastic women, but with robotic lower halves.The £83 million restaurant will let customers operate the 'fem-bots' - but staff will also 'steer' the performers as they dance for visitors. (via)
